GCSE Results Day
Congratulations to our Year 11 leavers for 2019!
Well done to all our Year 11 students who received their GCSE results today. Students, parents and staff shared in celebrating some excellent results and personal achievements. This year’s results saw 14% and 38% of entries being grades 7-9 and 5-9 respectively. 18% of students achieved 3 or more grade 7-9s.
On behalf of the entire school community, I congratulate our amazing students on their achievements. This year’s results are testament to the ambition and resilience of our students and staff and the support of our parent body. We will, as always, look to build on this success and strive to provide the best possible education our students deserve.
Please see the table below for a summary of our headline figures. The summary doesn’t include our Progress 8 score, this is the main measure of success for schools at GCSE but this measure is not confirmed until all the national data is published in October.
