Update from Chilton Trinity (18/05/2020)

You may have seen and heard last week the government are keen for Year 10 to have some ‘face to face’ time with their teachers before the normal summer break.

We are currently working on the information being provided by the government and have started to plan what that provision could look like, if we open our doors wider to Year 10. As you will know our first priority is the safety of your children and our staff and indeed the whole community.

We will keep you updated and give you as much prior notice as possible, once plans are agreed by the Clevedon Learning Trust.

Further information about Year 10s' return is likely to be published towards the end of next week. We are mindful that the position may change once again.

Thank you for your incredible support at this challenging time. Please stay safe and well.

Update from Chilton Trinity (11/05/2020)

Following the Prime Minsters address to the nation last night, we would like to clarify:

  • Chilton Trinity School remains closed until further notice.
  • The onsite education provision is only open to children of critical workers and identified vulnerable children.

We are awaiting further clarity from the Government on the way forward.  We will update this page and post a letter when we know more.

Update from Chilton Trinity (20/03/2020)

The most recent scientific advice on how to further limit the spread of COVID-19 is clear. If children can stay safely at home, they should, to limit the chance of the virus spreading.

The government have directed schools to close from 3pm Friday and for parents to keep their children at home, wherever possible, and asked schools to remain open only for those children who absolutely need to attend because their parents/carers are key workers.

It is important as parents and carers you know we will only be able  to support your child in school as a last resort if they would be unsafe at home.  We are closed but will have provision for parents who meet the 'key worker' criteria.

Please follow the link to the Government 'key worker' list https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintaining-educational-provision/guidance-for-schools-colleges-and-local-authorities-on-maintaining-educational-provision
